Hi, I am Jennifer Simon Halai. I have had a varied background: a history major with religious studies minor at Hiram College, Peace Corps Volunteer in Turkmenistan, 2 years of work at Case Western Reserve University Law Library in Cleveland, and also a summer internship at Zayed University Library in Dubai. Most recently, I was a Research Assistant at ICPSR.

I am a recent graduate of the School of Information at the University of Michigan with a Master of Information, specializing in Library Information Services.

I have engaged in continuous study of the changing roles and structure of libraries in this increasingly digital age. I am very excited about applying my international experience and understanding of the trajectories influencing the evolution of libraries to help them grow more sustainably.
